The 2007 Web Marketing Awards recognize Best of Industry
September 2007 - Jennifer's work as creative director and designer with Bayshore Solutions was recognized today as "Best of Industry" for the 2007 Web Marketing Awards. The award recognizes excellence in the communications and marketing field, and was awarded for Jennifer's work for Wycliffe Bible Translators new website, www.wycliffe.org.
Each website entry was judged on seven criteria, and the highest scorer was awarded the best website of that particular industry. The websites were judged on design, interactivity, technology, content, innovation, copywriting, and ease of use to target audience. Wycliffeís website competed in the faith-based category, and achieved a total judging score of 62.5 out of a possible 70. The industry average score was a 52.6.
The Web Marketing Association is working to create a high standard of excellence for Web site development and marketing on the Internet. Staffed by volunteers, it is made up of Internet marketing, advertising, public relations and design professionals who share an interest in improving the quality of Web site development and marketing on the Internet. Since 1997, the Web Marketing Association's annual WebAward Competition has been helping interactive professionals promote themselves, their companies and their best work to the outside world. Now in its tenth year, the WebAward Competition has become the premier award event for Web developers and marketers worldwide.
